| English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) ESOL classes are available to any student in grades 1-12. It is designed for students whom English is not the primary language and/or whose English is not adequate to function successfully in the regular subject areas. All Limited English Proficient (LEP) studetns are identified by the Home Language Survey or the ESOL Program Referral Form. They are screened to determine their Englsih Proficiency level and academic needs. Those students who are identified as eligible, and whose parent grant permission for the services, receive an average of one to four hours of English content-based instruction per day. |
